The city of St. Charles will host two community workshops in coming weeks as it preps its five-year strategic plan.

ST. CHARLES, IL — The city of St. Charles is in the process of updating its five-year strategic plan, which is meant to serve as a road map for decisions regarding the city’s future.
The strategic plan will incorporate feedback from the community and key stakeholders and is meant to establish the city’s mission, vision, priorities and goals, city officials said. As the city preps its strategic plan, city officials will host two community workshops in the coming weeks including a session from 5 to 7 p.m. on Aug. 25 at Baker Community Center, 101 S. 2nd St. in St. Charles, and from 5 to 7 p.m. on Oct. 19 at Baker Community Center.
“It’s our residents and businesses that make St. Charles the great city that it is,” said St. Charles Mayor Lora Vitek. “Your involvement in the Strategic Planning Process is invaluable. We want to make sure this plan truly reflects our community and what you think is important."
