St. Charles Restaurant Week Kicks Off Next Week

ST. CHARLES, IL — The St. Charles Business Alliance will hold its 13th annual St. Charles Restaurant Week next week. Restaurant week will run from Feb. 20 through Feb. 24, with more than 40 participating restaurants in this year's event.

Participating restaurants will offer a 15 percent discount on a bill of $20 or more for patrons who are dining in —but the cost of alcohol, tax and gratuity is not included in that total, according to a news release from the St. Charles Business Alliance.

Jenna Sawicki, the executive director for the St. Charles Business Alliance, says Restaurant Week is a great time for local residents to get out and try some of the great restaurants around town.

“This is the perfect time to go out and try a new restaurant while supporting local” Sawicki said. “St. Charles has an outstanding culinary scene, and it’s a great event to help showcase these establishments.”

In order to receive the 15 percent off discount, customers must mention that they are dining for St. Charles Restaurant Week to their waiter or waitress when they are placing their order, according to a news release.

Those stopping out to the restaurants will also have the opportunity to win a $25 gift card to a participating restaurant if they use the Travel St. Charles App to "check in" while dining out during restaurant week. They will be able to do this by visiting the "challenges" tab and checking in under the "restaurant week challenge."

Those who check in to one or more restaurants will be entered to win. Six winners will be chosen out of the people who complete the challenge, and will be notified via email on February 27.
