St. Charles Township Man Gets Prison For Predatory Sex Assault
Jesus J. Maciel Facio, of the 38W5 block of Campton Hills Drive, has been sentenced to 11 years in prison.

ST. CHARLES, IL — A 35-year-old St. Charles Township man has been sentenced to 11 years in prison for sexually assaulting a child.
Jesus J. Maciel Facio, of the 38W5 block of Campton Hills Drive, waived his right to a jury trial, and Kane County Judge Alice Tracy found him guilty of predatory criminal sexual assault, aggravated criminal sexual abuse and indecent solicitation of a child this past summer.
Tracy sentenced Facio to 11 years in prison, and ordered him to register for life as a sex offender.

Between June 2016 and June 2019, Facio had sexual contact with a child he knew who was under the age of 13 years old, according to prosecutors.
“I hope this prison sentence provides some peace of mind for the victim and her family," Kane County Assistant State’s Attorneys Tyler Cox said. "The victim remained strong from the beginning of this criminal investigation until the day the defendant was held accountable for his actions and sent to prison."
