St. Charles Youth Commission Accepting Funding Requests

Funds Available for Projects to Benefit St. Charles Youth

The St. Charles Youth Commission is now continually accepting funding request applications for projects and community groups that benefit St. Charles youth. Funding is awarded to youth-designed and youth-driven projects directed toward the promotion of healthy lifestyles among young people in the community.

The Youth Commission is encouraging scout, church, school and other youth community groups to consider how they can make a positive impact on St. Charles-area youth. Funding application forms are available at most St. Charles schools, the Municipal Building, as well as the City website at www.stcharlesil.gov/forms/youth-challenge-grant.

Funding requests need to be submitted by the 15th of each month in order to be reviewed and considered for approval at the next meeting. The Youth Commission does not meet in July or August.
