Shop, eat lunch, and enjoy the cool weather before winter comes barreling in at the old-fashioned Swap Meet in the parking lot at South Elgin Community United Methodist Church at 400 W. Spring Street from 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Friday and Saturday, September 16 and 17.
If you’d like to rent a space, they cost $20 a day. Set your items out on a blanket, sell out of a truck bed or the trunk of a car, bring your own table, or we will rent you one for $5 a day.
But if you just want to shop, enjoy a hot dog luncheon for $5 and cruise the bake sale, there will be plenty to buy and goodies to eat.
