SWEDISH AMERICAN CHILDREN’S CHOIR ACCEPTING NEW SINGERS

The Swedish American Children’sChoir is accepting new singers for its Spring/Summer season.

Children ages 4-17 are welcome to join the largest choir of its kind in the Midwest. The choir, now in its 19th season, has performed at numerous local venues and festivals as well as completed eight performance tours outside of Illinois.

Prior singer experience in not required nor is Scandinavian heritage. Singers learn about the Scandinavian heritage through the arts and perform songs in English and Swedish as well as Scandinavian folk dances. The choir rehearses in Batavia.
