T.J. Maxx To Open In St. Charles This Weekend

The store is set to open on Oct. 22.

ST. CHARLES, IL – Popular off-price retailer T.J. Maxx will be opening a new store in St. Charles this weekend. The 24,000-square-foot store will open on Kirk Road at Route 64 at 8 a.m. on Oct. 22. Local shoppers can stop out on opening day through 8 p.m. and the first 500 customers will receive a reusable bag.

In celebration of its new St Charles location, T.J.Maxx will contribute to the surrounding community by presenting a $10,000 donation to a local charity at the ribbon-cutting ceremony at 7:30 a.m. on Oct. 22, according to a news release.

"Our newest store in St. Charles will offer an ever-changing selection of high-quality, on-trend and brand-name merchandise at the amazing prices that T.J.Maxx is known for. Our buyers search the globe to discover the best in every department, and we’re excited to bring those finds to a new neighborhood,” said Tim Miner, President of T.J.Maxx. “With thousands of new items delivered to our stores every day, we know our shoppers will find something surprising and unexpected every time they shop.”

The new store plans to add about 60 full and part-time jobs to the area, according to a news release.

T.J. Maxx currently has 1,000 stores open in 49 states and Puerto Rico. Besides clothing and accessories, T.J. Maxx has jewelry, home, beauty, pet products, toys and more.

Regular hours for the St. Charles location will be 9:30 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. on Monday through Saturday and from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Sundays.
