The Service Learning class at Thompson Middle School in St. Charles took advantage of the overabundance of candy at this time of year by collecting sweets for our troops.
Their timing was apparently pretty good. The students collected 160 pounds of candy.

The class worked with Fox Valley Troop Support to coordinate the benefit. Both students and staff at Thompson were quite generous in provide some comfort for our heroes.
