Three City Parking Lots to Close for Resurfacing This Week

The city of St. Charles will be seal coating and fixing the concrete apron in the parking lot on Walnut and 2nd streets, across from the Baker Community Center, beginning on July 18. Work will be conducted between 7 a.m. and 4 p.m. and is expected to last approximately two weeks.

The parking lot will be closed on weekdays during the project work but will reopen on the weekends.

The city will also be sealcoating two other west side parking lots, including the parking lot at 2nd and Illinois streets and the lot at Walnut and 3rd streets. Work on these two lots are expected to start on July 18 and be finished by July 20.
