Tickets Still Available For Heritage Center Pig Roast

The St. Charles Heritage Center's 3rd Annual St. Charles Heritage Celebration - a Pig Roast and Silent Auction Fundraiser - is only 2 1/2 weeks away! The event is being held Saturday, June 29 at the History Museum, 215 East Main Street, from 5-10pm. Tickets for this 21 and over only event are still available and can be purchased in advance at the History Museum, or at the door for $45 each. Advanced tickets are strongly encouraged. Your ticket price will include entrance to the event, an all you can eat pulled pork dinner from Dave's Slow Food, and two drinks. Additional drinks (beer, wine, pop, water) will be provided on site by The Office restaurant on a cash basis.

Inside the Museum the exhibits will be open and some lovely silent auction baskets and trips will be available for bidding! Mystery Wine and Dine bags (a bag with a surprise restaurant gift certificate and bottle of wine) will also be available for purchase that evening. And finally, the winners of the Split the Pot Raffle will be announced during the event. The winners' share is already over $3,500!

The St. Charles Heritage Celebration is the Heritage Center's largest fundraiser of the year and we hope to raise enough funds to continue to support our mission to collect, preserve, and present St. Charles History. "In the past our Heritage Celebrations have been more formal events, but this year the committee really wanted to try something fun at the Museum. That's how the idea of the Pig Roast came about" said Brian Henry, Fundraising Chairman. Henry continued, "By having the event at the Museum people can see directly what they are supporting and hopefully connect to our town's unique history"
