Timeline of Sycamore Double Homicide
Patricia Wilson and her son, Robert, were found beaten to death inside their home on Aug. 15.

The DeKalb Sheriff's Office on Wednesday released a timeline that provides details into the final day of Patricia and Robert Wilson's lives. The mother and son were found murdered in their home on Aug. 15, 2016. Authorities are continuing to search for their killer or killers.
Here is a look at what Patricia and Robert did in the hours leading up to their death:
Aug. 14, 2016
- 9:15 a.m. on Aug. 14.: Patricia and Robert attend Sunday morning service at St. John’s Lutheran Church on Brickville Road in Sycamore
- After the service, Patricia and Robert had breakfast with friends at Sycamore Café at approximately 10:30 a.m.
- Robert and Patricia returned home, and Robert later leaves for the Sycamore Moose Lodge at about 12 p.m.
- Robert left the Moose Lodge in the late afternoon and goes home at about 4:30 p.m.
- Patricia spoke with a relative on the telephone at approximately 7:43 p.m.
Aug. 15, 2016
- The Wilsons' white Impala is recorded by a traffic camera after midnight traveling east on State Route 64 at Route 59 at 12:44 a.m.
- The Impala is first documented on a CTA bus video parked on North Stockton on Aug. 15 at 11:58 a.m.
- The sheriff’s office received the call for a death investigation at 16058 Old State Road just before 6 p.m. on Aug. 15
- The DeKalb County Major Case Squad was activated at approximately 6:45 p.m.

- The Wilsons' white Impala is located by the Chicago Police Department on North Stockton near the Lincoln Park Zoo in Chicago
