Unique, Unparalleled, Uncommon Threads Event Returns to St. Charles

Uncommon Threads, the annual Art-To-Wear runway show and luncheon presented by Fine Line Creative Arts Center in St. Charles, brings together phenomenal wearable textiles and accessories created by local and national artists.å

In its 27th year, this event -- Fine Line’s prime annual fundraiser -- will take place in St. Charles at Q Center, on Sunday, Oct. 20. Q Center is located at 1405 N. Fifth Ave., St. Charles.

A boutique filled with one-of-a-kind wearable art accessories starts off this daytime event at 10 a.m. A luncheon is served at noon, followed the runway show at 1 p.m.

One-of-a-kind creations are also being raffled off as part of this event.

Raffle tickets are $5 each or 5 for $20. Tickets can be purchased at Fine Line or through the mail, now up to the day of the event, and at Q Center during the day of the show. You need not be present to win.

Tickets for the Uncommon Threads luncheon and runway show are $60 per person and are available for purchase at Fine Line, or online at http://fineline.org/events/uncommonthreads.html. Fine Line is a nonprofit organization. As such, $25 of each ticket purchased is tax deductible.
