Vero Voce Celebrates the Holidays with Britten's "Ceremony of Carols"
(St Charles) Vero Voce Theater and School of Performing Arts will feature Britten's "Ceremony of Carols" sung by the Vero Voce Chorale.

(ST CHARLES) Vero Voce Theater and School of Performing Arts will feature Benjamin Britten’s “Ceremony of Carols” sung by the Vero Voce Chorale and accompanied by Richard Trost, pianist. Singers chosen to participate in the chorale study voice privately at Vero Voce and are selected based on vocal technique and sight singing abilities. Chorale members include Melissa Bronski (Big Rock), Riley Brutto, Lauren Freas, Katelyn Jassoy , Miranda Keigher, Erin Kingseed, Amanda Sallmann , Keeley Sherman (St Charles), Kayla Bussert , Ryan Bussert (So Elgin), Dan Keller (Aurora), Abageal Phelan (Geneva), Maisie Sweeney and Natalie Sweeney (Batavia).
Other highlights of the evening will include solos by several of Vero Voce’s staff including Sopranos Dawn Harkins and Melissa Pagano-Arndt, Lila Chavez (flute), Daniel Eastwood (percussion) and Andrew Schlinder (saxophone).
Performances are Friday and Saturday, December 5 & 6, 2014 at 7:30 pm. Tickets are $10 general admission and may be purchased online at www.verovoce.com or by calling (630) 584-0139. All major credit cards accepted.
