Main Street Cabaret's "Broadway Babies" on November 5, 2016 at 6:30pm at Vero Voce Theater in St Charles!
(St. Charles) Vero Voce proudly presents local cabaret organization, Main Street Cabaret, for a show on Saturday November 5th at 6:30pm! The show, Broadway Babies, will be at the Vero Voce Theater, located at 951 State Ave, Ste F, St Charles IL 60174.
Established in 2013 by one of Robin Rotela (Voice Teacher at Vero Voce), Main Street Cabaret performs music theatre revue style shows of varying themes at venues all over the Chicago area. The group has several talented vocalists and pianists who rotate performing the shows.
Main Street Cabaret brings their Broadway Babies show to Vero Voce, a show about the many famous leading ladies of the (music theatre) stage. Hear the songs of Audra McDonald, Sutton Foster, Julie Andrews, and many more! Main Street Cabaret will perform a wide variety of music theatre numbers we’ve heard from several “Broadway Babies”. Enjoy showtunes from My Fair Lady, Wicked, Mary Poppins, and Carousel, just to name a few! This is a great show for all ages!

“Broadway Babies was the first theme I created for Main Street Cabaret shows, back in 2013. The show has continually been a huge hit, having been performed at several Chicago area venues. It is important to note that we are not imitating these stars, just singing their songs. Every time we have done this theme, it has been different, and really fun to find new leading ladies and the songs they are singing!” says Robin Rotela, Music Director.
Main Street Cabaret’s Broadway Babies includes vocalists Danielle Scampini-Linn (Chesterton IN), Oana Odean (Chicago), and Robin Rotela (Arlington Hts), with piano accompanist Janet Eckhart (Chicago).
