Literacy Volunteers Fox Valley will hold its next tutor training workshop from 6:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. on Tuesdays and Thursdays, October 13, 15, 20, and 22 at Pottawatomie Community Center in St. Charles. The workshop will be limited to six participants to allow for social distancing.

Literacy Volunteers Fox Valley helps adults communicate in English by matching them with trained volunteer tutors who provide lessons once each week. Tutors can teach online or in person.

If you know English, you can teach English to an adult who is waiting to learn. The program provides material and instruction so anyone can be a volunteer tutor. If you have one hour each week, we can fit tutoring into your schedule.
