West Chicago High School Drama students and parents jumped in with two-feet to raise funds for their upcoming trip to Scotland.
West Chicago| West Chicago High School Drama students and parents jumped in with two-feet to raise funds for their upcoming trip to Scotland.
WEGO Drama teacher Mark Begovich and several parents volunteered behind the counter, served ice cream, sold delicious apple pies and presented food at the drive-thru.
The Drama department is raising funds so they can represent the community, state, and country at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. The festival is the World's Largest Performing Arts Festival. The students and chaperones will travel to Scotland next August for this amazing trip..

Customers were treated to a beautiful duet performed by WEGO drama students Sammy Incrocci and Noemi Lara.
With the help from parent, Megan Ross and her son Vincent Ross the drama department sold 120 delicious apple pies to hungry customers during the event. Drama teacher Mark Begovich danced inside and outside encouraging customers to try the apple pies. The 120 pies sold were donated by Owner-Operator John Lardas.

"It was a fun event where family, friends, students, and alums came together to have a special evening. "This event will make our adventure to Scotland a success!" stated Drama teacher Mark Begovich.
