SOUTH ELGIN, IL — The South Elgin Police Department is seeking the public's help in tracking down a 33-year-old woman who walked away from drug rehabilitation center last fall. Suzanne Rezab left the rehabilitation center in Oak Park wearing only a hospital gown in mid-September, authorities said.

Her family reported her missing in November 2019 after they were unable to find her on their own, according to the South Elgin Police Department Facebook page. Now, the South Elgin Police Department is asking area residents to keep an eye out for Rezab as they have "exhausted all avenues of investigation."

Police say Rezab may have relapsed and has previously panhandled in the area of Congress Parkway near the old Post Office building in Chicago. Other family members have reported unsubstantiated claims she might be somewhere in Indiana, according to a news release.
