Your Guide to Jazz Weekend in St. Charles
Eight different downtown venues will host 16 performers during the three-day festival, which kicks off Thursday.

The 5th Annual St. Charles Jazz Weekend is set to host free, live jazz music from Sept. 8 through 11 in Downtown St. Charles. There are 16 different performances set between 8 different venues for lunch, dinner, and late evening entertainment, according to a Downtown St. Charles press release.
This year’s venues include: Rox City Grill, Baker Memorial United Methodist Church, The Filling Station Pub & Grill, The House Pub, McNally’s Traditional Irish Pub, First Street Plaza, The Jank Guitar Store, and The Office Dining & Spirits.
The venues will host Jazz soloists to quintets that cover a range of jazz styles complimentary for their in-house guests. Three-time Grammy Award winning Saxophonist Frank Catalano will headline at The Filling Station Pub & Grill on Thursday evening and play again at The House Pub on Saturday evening, according to the news release.
Jenna Sawicki, Interim Director of the Downtown St. Charles Partnership, is “excited for this year’s lineup, and pleased to once again feature Grammy Award winning artist Frank Catalano. Not only do we have some new venues this year, including Rox City Grill and McNally’s Traditional Irish Pub, but we are pleased to continue partnering with businesses like, The Office and The House Pub.”
