Fox Valley Repertory is holding Youth Ensemble auditions for the summer production of "Beauty & The Beast Jr" at Pheasant Run

The Fox Valley Rep Performing Arts Academy is searching for the best and brightest young talent in the Fox Valley ages 6-18 years old to audition for the Youth Ensemble musical production, Disney’s Beauty & The Beast Jr. Open auditions will take place at Fox Valley Rep’s home – Pheasant Run Resort (4051 E. Main St., St. Charles, IL; education telephone 630-364-0550).

Director Patrick Stinson of Oswego returns to Fox Valley Repertory after directing the professional mainstage holiday hit The Wonderettes (2012), receiving high acclaims from Fox Valley patrons and critics. He also directed the youth ensemble productions of All Shook Up (2011) and Seussical Jr (2011). Patrick is the former artistic Director for the Clinton area Showboat Theater and the former Executive Director for the Papermill Theatre. He is also a designer and currently the Director of Exhibits for SciTech: Hands on Museum in Aurora. This past year Patrick has directed and or choreographed over 10 shows, and is looking forward to his 11th show – Beauty & The Beast, Jr.

“I work with a lot of junior high and high school productions, but what I really love about working with Fox Valley rep is the amount of talent that these kids bring from each of their individual school programs, and how we all learn from each other and it’s always fun watching these performers grow into the area’s next big stars,” says Stinson.
