Missing Boy In Tinley Park: Imad Alsarraj Disappeared July 12
Imad Alsarraj, 14, went to play basketball at Volunteer Park late Thursday afternoon and never returned home.

TINLEY PARK, IL -- A Tinley Park boy hasn't been seen since Thursday afternoon when he left to go play basketball at a neighborhood park. Imad Alsarraj, 14, was last seen in the 7300 block of South Sandalwood on July 12. Imade told his mother he was going to Volunteer Park to play basketball around 4 p.m. His mother became concerned when Imad did not return home by his 7 p.m. curfew.
“My brother is supposed to be home by 7 p.m. before it gets dark. He’s usually home by 7 or 7:30,” said Larisa Mujkic. “I finished my shift at 8:15 and my mother told me to check on my brother at the basketball court.”
The park was empty when his sister arrived. The family is distributing fliers around the Tinley Park area. They also filed a police report with the Tinley Park Police Department. Mujkic said detectives have told the family there is no trace of her brother.
