2 Fireworks Shows For Independence Day, America's 250th Celebration In Tinley Park: Village

The shows are set for dusk on July 3 and 4, officials said.

TINLEY PARK, IL — Tinley Park residents will be treated to two fireworks shows to commemorate Independence Day and America's 250th birthday, the Village has announced.

The Village and Tinley Park-Park District have collaborated on two pyrotechnic displays over the July 4 weekend, officials said.

The first show will be held at dusk on Friday, July 3 just south of the 80th Avenue train station, the Village said. It will be featured as part of the debut Tinley Park Country Fest. The fireworks will be launched from the fire training tower area, making them visible from both the south and north lots, Village Manager Pat Carr said.
