American Legion Post 615 Hosts First Oktoberfest

Celebrate Oktoberfest this Saturday at American Legion Post 615 in Tinley Park featuring German Music and food.

Members of the Tinley Park American Legion Riders Post 615 & Sons of the Legion, will host their first ever Oktoberfest event on Saturday, October 15th from 6:00 PM until 11:59 PM. The event, which is only open to adults 21 and over, will offer an array of activities inside the Post located at 17423 67th Ct. in Tinley Park, Illinois.

Members are asking the public for a $10.00 donation per person to cover expenses but there will be free food and a cash bar available for guests to enjoy. German music will be provided by Your Entertainment DJ, and raffle prizes will also be offered.

“We wanted to do something to say thank you to all our guests that visit throughout the year and attend our festivals,” said Santino Lettieri, chairperson. “This festival allows us to show our Post and for residents from all areas to meet some local veterans,” Lettieri added.
