TINLEY PARK, IL — A Richton Park man faces aggravated battery charges after police said he "squirted a woman with an unknown substance" inside a Tinley Park Target, police said Friday.
Cameron Jernigan, 26, was charged after making unwanted contact with a woman by squirting the substance on her clothing while she was shopping at 5 p.m. Friday, April 3, at Target, 7300 W. 191st St., police said.
During the investigation, officers learned that Jernigan also made unwanted contact with two additional women, one in Target and another at Ross Dress for Less, 7290 191st St., police said.
Police don’t know the identity of the two other women, as they didn’t file a report. The women involved likely didn’t know the offender had placed anything on them, police said.
If you had contact with Jernigan while shopping at Target or Ross around 5 p.m. April 3, please contact the Tinley Park Police Department at (708) 444-5300 and ask to speak with Officer Manzella. Reference Case #26-01499.
Jernigan will appear at the Will County Courthouse on April 27.
