TINLEY PARK, IL — A Cinco de Mayo-themed artisan market is coming to a Tinley Park brewery this Saturday, bringing a curated mix of local artists, handmade goods, and cultural celebration to the brewery.
The event runs from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m. at Soundgrowler Brewing, 8201 183rd St., Suite P, and is free to attend and family-friendly.
Hosted by the Streetz Artz Alliance, the market builds on the group’s signature “sip and shop” format while shifting the focus toward culture, community, and storytelling in honor of Cinco de Mayo. Attendees can expect a vibrant mix of artists and makers, many of whom draw from heritage and personal narrative in their work.
"This market is about more than just shopping," said curator John E. Streetz. "It’s about creating a space where culture, creativity, and community come together in a meaningful way."
The lineup will feature a wide variety of handmade goods, original art, and specialty items, along with a small selection of plant vendors and a vinyl seller to round out the mix. The emphasis remains on the experience—connecting guests with artists and the stories behind their work.
Soundgrowler Brewing will offer its full lineup of craft beer along with food options, including tacos that complement the Cinco de Mayo theme. The indoor taproom and outdoor patio will both be utilized, allowing guests to explore the market comfortably throughout the afternoon.
The vendor lineup is carefully curated to provide a balanced and engaging mix of offerings. Many participating artists also support charitable causes, continuing the organization’s focus on community impact alongside local art.
The Cinco de Mayo Artisan Market takes place Saturday from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m. at Soundgrowler Brewing Co., 8201 183rd St., Suite P, Tinley Park.
