USA Dodgeball Championships September 4-6 at Wintrust Sports Complex at Bedford Park

The best competitive dodgeball athletes from across the United States will converge on Bedford Park this Labor Day weekend for the 2026 USA Dodgeball National Championships, taking place September 4–6, 8am-9pm, at Wintrust Sports Complex.

The three-day championship event will bring hundreds of athletes to the Chicago area to compete for national teams. Teams will compete in men's/open, women's, and mixed divisions throughout the weekend, with athletes battling through pool and bracket play for the chance to be crowned national champions.

The National Championships mark the culmination of USA Dodgeball's 2026 Premier Tour season, which has brought top teams from across the country together at tournaments throughout the year. The weekend will feature some of the highest-level competitive dodgeball in the United States, as teams and athletes vie for the sport's biggest domestic titles.

The championship weekend schedule includes:

● Friday, September 4: No-Sting National Championships

● Saturday, September 5: Foam National Championships

● Sunday, September 6: Cloth National Championships

No-sting dodgeballs are made from a softer, smoother rubber than cloth dodgeballs to reduce impact and discomfort when hit. Foam dodgeballs are sponge-like and low-risk. Cloth dodgeballs are most durable and heavier with highly predictable flight.

For some of the athletes competing in Bedford Park, the weekend will also serve as an important opportunity to prepare for the international stage. Following the National Championships, members of Team USA will travel to Bangkok, Thailand, for the World Dodgeball Championships, where they will compete against national teams from around the world. Several athletes competing at Nationals will be part of the American teams heading to Bangkok, providing an additional storyline for local sports fans and media following the event.
