Patriots Take Top Spot in SWIC Softball Tournament

The Grissom Patriots boys' softball team finished on top, winning first place in the Southwest Interscholastic Conference (SWIC) tournament.

Under Coach George Chicvara, the Patriots delivered a strong tournament performance to claim the conference championship. The championship roster includes Robert Brown, Luke Burke, CJ Cichowicz, Shane Garrity, Easton Gary, Cameron Jurishi, Eddie Legenza, Austin Miller, Joey Panozzo, Landon Poortinga, Broden Ridgway, Luke Schau, Luke Schaub, Camden Smentek, and Casey Stadnicki.

Special recognition goes to Luke Burke, who was named to the SWIC All-Conference Team and earned Tournament MVP honors.

"I am extremely proud of this team and the effort they put in all season," said Coach Chicvara. "They played for each other, worked hard, and represented Grissom with pride. Winning the SWIC tournament was a great way to end the season."
