Sandburg HS DECA students compete at Regionals

Sandburg High School DECA students competed in Regional competition on January 19 at Moraine Valley Community College. Over 300 students from 15 suburban high schools participated in the competition with hopes of earning a spot at State. Students complete a 50 question Economics test, a 100 question Business Cluster test, and then a Role Play.

These Andrew High School students qualified to advance to State competition:

2nd Place – Chloe Detlefsen – Entrepreneurship

3rd Place – Andre Young – Entrepreneurship

3rd Place – Santinique Hogan – Principles of Business Management & Administration

2nd Place – James Armstrong – Principles of Marketing

2nd Place – Colin Motzny and Daniel Askounis – Entrepreneurship –Team Event
