Andrew HS Marching Band Invitational set for Sept 15

Marching bands from 22 high schools will be showcasing their programs

The Victor J. Andrew High School Marching Band will host the 4th Annual Marching Band Invitational on Saturday, September 15.

Marching bands from 22 high schools will be showcasing their programs. Area schools scheduled to perform include Bremen, Eisenhower, Sandburg, Stagg, Lemont, Lincoln-Way, Providence Catholic, Bolingbrook, Romeoville, Plainfield Central and North. There will also be a special guest performance by the Illinois State University Big Red Marching Machine!

Gates open at 12:00 p.m. with the first performance at 1:00 p.m. Invitational awards will be at 5:15 p.m. for Class A/AA and 9:45 p.m. for Class AAA. There will be concessions and food trucks available. The cost is $12 for adults, $6 for students (with ID) and $36 for a family of four, 2 adults and 2 children. Seniors age 65 and over are $6 and children under 3 are free. KSD140 and Central Middle School students are free with school ID. A program for the event is included in the price of admission. Cash and credit cards accepted throughout.

Come out and enjoy a wonderful afternoon and evening of music and fun! Proceeds from this fundraiser support the music and theater programs at Andrew High School.
