Another Pot Survey In Tinley Seeks Residents' Input
Residents of Tinley Park are asked for their opinion on whether or not recreational marijuana businesses should be allowed in town.
TINLEY PARK, IL — Village officials in Tinley Park are trying to get more public feedback on whether or not recreational marijuana businesses should be allowed in town. A second survey in three months is now open to seek public input on the issue after the village put a moratorium on deciding whether or not to allow recreational adult-use cannabis to give them more time to collect feedback.
To take the survey, go here and click the "cannabis survey" link and answer the question about cannabis businesses and then indicate whether or not you are a Tinley Park resident. The survey can also be found on the village of Tinley Park website under "Quick Links" and the "Latest News" section.
In November, results from the first survey showed a majority of Tinley Park residents support allowing retail recreational dispensaries, indoor cultivation centers, manufacturing facilities for extraction/infusion and cannabis cafes/smoke lounges.

The second survey was issued because some residents voiced concerns they weren’t aware of the first survey, Village of Tinley Park Public Information Coordinator Jason Freeman said.
All Tinley Park residents and businesses will receive a postcard in the mail this week directing them to the survey, which is open through Jan. 25. Those who are unable to take the survey online can stop by Tinley Park Village Hall, 16250 S. Oak Park Ave. during normal business hours and complete a paper copy.
