Archbishop Cupich to Lead Easter Mass at St. Julie Billiart in Tinley Park
Predecessors have typically celebrated at Holy Name Cathedral.

Archbishop Blase Cupich will break from recent tradition, and celebrate Easter Sunday at Tinley Park’s St. Julie Billiart instead of Holy Name Cathedral.
Cupich has a busy Holy Week—the days leading up to Easter—planned at the cathedral, Chicago Tribune reports. He will lead services on Palm Sunday, Chrism Mass on March 31, Holy Thursday, and Good Friday (full schedule of Chicago services here). Predecessor Cardinal Francis George celebrated at Holy Name as it is considered the seat of the archdiocese.
He will preside over the Easter Sunday 10:30 a.m. service at St. Julie Billiart, 7399 West 159th St. in Tinley Park.
