Burglary Crew Hits Several Tinley, Orland Businesses In One Morning
The group threw paver bricks through windows to get into the businesses, police said.
TINLEY PARK, IL — A group of three burglars armed with paver bricks struck businesses in Orland Park and Tinley Park in the early morning hours Saturday.
Three male offenders in hoodies and masks first struck a Shell gas station at 151st and Harlem Avenue around 3 a.m., smashing in the business window with a paver brick and making off with $80 and tobacco products, said Orland Park Chief Commander Kenneth Rosinski.
The group then targeted a Dunkin location at 171st and 80th Avenue in Tinley Park, also breaking that window with a paver brick, said Deputy Chief Lawrence Rafferty. An employee in the back of the store interrupted the burglary, and the suspects fled. Police responded to a call of burglary in progress.

The group also hit Diaz Tacos in the same strip mall, Tinley Park police said. Nothing was reported stolen from either business.
The offenders fled in a stolen white Toyota Camry with Michigan plates, police said. The vehicle was later recovered by Homewood Police, but the suspects are still at large. Orland Park believe the same three are responsible for all three break-ins.
