Patriotic fireworks will light up the skies above McCarthy Park when the Village of Tinley Park and the Tinley Park-Park District host a joint Independence Day Celebration from 4 to 10 p.m. Friday, July 4.
Festivities will kick off with live music by Five Guys Named Moe at 4 p.m., followed by food and beverages for sale from local vendors, inflatables for kids, bingo, a magic show by the Great Boodini, a gun salute and flag-raising ceremony, and a concert by Spoken Four at 7 p.m. The celebration will end with a fireworks show set to patriotic music at 9:30 p.m. Visitors will also be able to enjoy mini golf and batting cages all day.
McCarthy Park is located at 16801 S. 80th Ave.
