The Village of Tinley Park and the Tinley Park Park District are hosting a joint Independence Day Celebration from 6 to 10 p.m. Friday, July 4 at McCarthy Park, 16801 S. 80th Ave., Tinley Park.
Festivities will kick off with our welcome ceremony at 6:45pm followed by live music from Radio Gaga at 7 p.m. Food and beverages will be for sale from local vendors. The celebration will end with a fireworks show set to patriotic music at 9:30 p.m. Visitors will also be able to enjoy mini golf and batting cages all day!

For over a decade, families, schools, and community groups have come here to create memories, celebrate milestones, and find peace through art. Thanks to Community Support, just a few weeks ago, we were preparing to close our doors on December 23. It was a difficult decision after pouring our hearts into building a creative space for families, children, artists, and neighbors to gather, create, and connect. But something beautiful happened. Our community showed up. Through encouragement, continued bookings, kind words, and steady support, we were reminded why Mucci World exists in the first place — not just as a business, but as a place of joy, creativity, and togetherness. Because of you, we are staying open. Mucci World has always been about more than pottery and paint. It’s a peaceful, creative sanctuary where people of all ages can slow down, unplug, and make lasting memories. From pottery and painting classes to birthday parties, vendor markets, homeschool programs, and special events, this space has become a home for creativity for everyone.
