5 Cars Stolen in Overnight Heist at Tinley Park Dealership
A group of thieves smashed windows at Bettenhausen Automotive and fled with multiple vehicles.

TINLEY PARK, IL - Five cars were stolen from a Tinley Park car dealership overnight, marking the third break-in at a Chicagoland dealership this weekend and the tenth since the beginning of the year.
A group of five thieves smashed a window and entered the Bettenhausen Automotive dealership at 8355 West 159th Street around 11:20 p.m. Friday, according to police. Once inside they each entered a car and then left the lot and headed eastbound on 159th Street.
One of the thieves abandoned a vehicle on 159th Street and then entered one of the other stolen vehicles. The four remaining vehicles were seen near 159th and Pulaski, where police attempted a traffic stop, which the drivers refused and were last seen headed northbound on Interstate 57.
