Tinley Park, IL – Fall kicks off the season of fests, but none are quite like Bavarian! The Crisis Center for South Suburbia (CCSS) is gearing up for the 5th Annual Bavarian Fest. Taking place on Sunday, September 20, 2015 at Water’s Edge Golf Club in Worth, IL, CCSS hopes the fest will attract supporters seeking an afternoon of great German fun, the opportunity to connect with the Worth community, and a way to spread the word about such a worthy cause. Natalie Behm of New Lenox said, “We have gone three times, and always have a great time! Gather up a group of friends and buy tickets now!” The event will be held from 3:00pm-8:00pm, turning a lazy Sunday into an evening of beer, bags, and brats!
The German-themed event will be held underneath a large tent overlooking the pond of Water’s Edge Golf Club. Attendees will have endless opportunities with contests such as the German stein holding contest and the bean bag tourney with chances to win cash prizes. Live entertainment will be provided by Bruce Korosa and his Orchestra as well as Bill Gula with the Chicago Image Polka Band a reason to stay on their feet and to dance the night away. The experience of an authentic German-style dinner (bratwurst, sour red cabbage, German potato salad and more!) is another perk of the day setting this CCSS fundraiser apart from many other fall fundraising events.
CCSS is thrilled to host this event once again in Worth, IL which is home to one of their two Neat Repeats Resale stores. They welcome Sheet Metal Werks, B.J. Bohne/Bohne Foundation, and Neat Repeats Resale as the 2015 Premier sponsors. “We’re very grateful to all of our sponsors”, said Chris Beele, Event Coordinator. They are down-to-earth, hardworking people who understand the impact they can make on the families we serve.”
