Chipotle supports Together We Cope on May 19

Chipotle Mexican Grill in Orland Park hosts a fundraiser May 19 to benefit Together We Cope, a homeless prevention agency based in Tinley Park and serving residents of 27 south suburban communities.

“Make dinner a selfless act,” the restaurant suggests, “by joining us for a fundraiser to support Together We Cope.” Chipotle will donate 50% of the day’s sales between 4 and 9 p.m. on Friday, May 19 if customers mention Together We Cope.

Customers can bring in a flyer available on TWC’s website togetherwecope.org, or show it on a smartphone, or simply tell the cashier they are supporting Together We Cope’s cause. The restaurant then will donate 50% of the proceeds of that sale. The Orland Park Chipotle is located at 15240 S. LaGrange Road.

Together We Cope assists south suburban families in temporary crisis by providing food, shelter, clothing and referrals, empowering them to return to self-sufficiency. The agency provides food to more than 1,400 families each month.
