Chris Brown Concertgoer Bites Woman's Finger, Fights Cops: Police
Prosecutor said concertgoer permanently disfigured woman's finger after biting it and spit at Tinley Park officers.

TINLEY PARK, IL -- A Calumet City woman tried to bite off a woman’s finger and battled cops during a Chris Brown concert at the Hollywood Casino Amphitheater, prosecutors said. Caprice Lee, 26, appeared before Cook County Judge John Mahoney on multiple felony charges including aggravated battery causing great bodily harm, aggravated battery to a peace officer and criminal damage to government property. Lee was also charged with misdemeanor resisting arrest.
According to the charges, Tinley Park police answered a call for an altercation at the concert venue during Chris Brown performance around 9:25 p.m. July 28. Lee allegedly got into a fight with two other women, biting one of their fingers and causing permanent disfigurement.
As police were trying to handcuff Lee, the prosecutor said she started fighting officers, sinking to the ground and spitting at police. Officers were able to get Lee into a transport van, when she allegedly slipped out of her handcuffs and kicked the vehicle’s door frames until it bent. Lee was taken to the security office where another vehicle was waiting to take her to Tinley Park police station. While she was being transferred to the police van, she kicked the door and injured the officer, who suffered soft-tissue damage to his hand, the prosecutor said.

At the police station, Lee allegedly resisted attempts to remove the handcuffs and refused to get out of the vehicle. The prosecutor said Lee continued spitting at the police.
The prosecutor said Lee has four prior arrests for driving on a suspended license resisting arrest in 2013. Lee also has multiple out-of-state arrests. She was flagged for violence in a pre-trial safety assessment.

The assistant public defender told the judge that Lee works at a fitness center and attended one year of college in Michigan on a basketball scholarship.
“I don’t know what’s going on in your head, but there’s something angry in there,” Mahoney said. “You can’t be fighting with police. You’re not going to like the bond.”
Bail was set at $150,000. Lee’s next court hearing is Aug. 24 in Bridgeview.
