Crisis Center for South Suburbia Holds Gala March 2

The Crisis Center for South Suburbia, which offers services for victims of domestic violence, holds its annual gala March 2.

TINLEY PARK, IL — The Crisis Center for South Suburbia celebrates its 40th anniversary this year as part of its Annual Gala in March.

The center provides emergency shelter and other services for individuals and families who are victims of domestic violence.

This year's "Evening in Greece" event will be held at 6:30 p.m., Sat., March 2 at the Hilton DoubleTree Chicago-Alsip.

The gala also features a new Sand or Ski Raffle in which the winner will get to choose a beach vacation or a ski trip getaway. Only 100 tickets will be sold for that raffle.

Last year's auction at the event raised more than $70,000, and organizers say they're looking to exceed that goal this year.

Online bidding also is available for items such as trips, sports tickets and collectibles. Registration for the silent auction can be found at www.crisisctr.org/gala19.
