D140 Students Raise Over $38,000 for St. Baldrick’s Foundation
School Communities Support Childhood Cancer Research
In a heartwarming display of solidarity and compassion, 57 students and staff members from Christa McAuliffe and Helen Keller elementary schools participated in St. Baldrick's head-shaving events in March.
Together, with the generous support of the District 140 community, participants raised over $38,000 for childhood cancer research.
"Thanks to all those who contributed and participated in this meaningful cause," stated Superintendent Dr. Daniel Callaghan. "This collective effort of students, staff, and community members is a testament to the remarkable spirit of generosity and empathy within our school communities."
