D146 Lady Twisters Seek Second Conference Title
D146's CMS girls softball is experiencing another solid season. They defend their SWIC Conf. title Fri, Oct 3 at Humphrey Baseball Complex.

School District 146 Central Middle School girls softball team coach Barb Recker is still reeling since the Lady Twisters 2013 SWIC conference first place win, and she and her team are playing hard in hopes of a similar finish this season.
The Lady Twisters have had a solid season to date, starting out at 5-0, followed by back to back losses, only to fight back to win their second game in a row yesterday against Jerling Jr. High.
Coach Recker said, “The Lady Twisters are a fun group to coach with a lot of talent. They had a strong start out of the gate, and then suffered two losses, but these girls never give up and it’s that attitude that got them to rally back yesterday for the win. They played like a team, which is crucial in a game like this.”

Coach Recker said, “If we win the next two games, the Lady Twisters are guaranteed at least second place for the regular season. These girls are playing great, and I believe with their talents they will have a strong finish to their season.”
SWIC Conference girls softball playoffs will take place the week of Sept. 29 with the conference finals played on Friday, Oct. 3, at Humphrey Baseball Complex in Orland Park.
