The Consolidated High School District 230 Board of Education unanimously appointed Dr. Kelli Lattyak as Associate Principal for Instruction and Kristin Baker as the Division Chair for English, English Learners, Music and Media both at Victor J. Andrew High School.
Dr. Lattyak is in her third year as Math and Business Division Chair at Andrew High School. Previously, she served as Math Department Supervisor at Bremen High School for two years, and she spent nine years as a math teacher at Tinley Park High School from 2009-2018.
Dr. Lattyak said, “I am incredibly grateful for this opportunity to partner with an incredibly dedicated and passionate VJA community in this new role. With even further opportunities to connect with students, staff, and families, I look forward to learning and growing our academic opportunities and supports to engage our TBolts in learning that drives them forward.”

Dr. Lattyak holds a Doctorate of Education in Educational Leadership from the University of St. Francis, a Master of Education in Educational Technology from American College of Education and a second master’s degree in Educational Leadership from Lewis University. She also earned a bachelor's degree in Math Education and Secondary Education from Loyola University, Chicago.
Kristi Baker currently serves as an Andrew High School Dean and has since 2007. She also served as a dean for one year at Stagg High School in the 2006-07 school year, and from 1999-2006 she was an English teacher at Andrew.

"I am honored to return to the English/EL/Music and Media Division. I look forward to collaborating with my colleagues and building upon the vibrant, innovative curriculum and artistic programs they have created and implemented for our students at Victor J. Andrew High School," Baker said.
Baker holds a master’s degree in Administration and Supervision from DePaul University and a bachelor’s degree in English from Saint Xavier University.
Andrew High School Principal Dr. Abir Othman said, “I have every confidence in both Dr. Lattyak and Ms. Baker in their new roles. Their familiarity with Andrew and our T-Bolt family and leadership experiences will help ensure a smooth transition. I look forward to working with them to empower and advance our students."
