Family Mourns Matteson Teen Gunned Down In Driveway
The teen was walking to the car to head to school when he was shot, according to a report.
MATTESON, IL — The family of a 16-year-old boy who was fatally shot in their Matteson driveway Monday morning is mourning the Rich Township High School student.
Tymon Wilson was walking to the car to head to school when shots rang out, NBC-5 reported Wednesday. His mother—a nurse—was waiting in the car to drive him, his brother told reporters.
Police were called to the home at Colgate and Central Avenue Monday just before 9 a.m., NBC reports. The teen was found unconscious in the driveway and taken to a nearby hospital, where he died.
