Find Out How Tinley Park Runners Fared at Chicago Marathon
Congrats to all of the local runners who completed the 26.2-mile race in Chicago Sunday!

Tinley Park runners fared well at the Bank of America Chicago Marathon on Sunday.
Dan Woods was the first Tinley Park resident to finish the 26.2-mile race in Chicago Sunday, according to unofficial results posted on the Chicago Marathon website. He crossed the finish line with a time of 2:52.27. Rebecca Cozzi was the first female Tinley Park resident to complete the marathon. She finished with an unofficial time of 3:16.12.
Meanwhile, Dickson Chumba, 28, of Kenya, was the overall winner of the race with an unofficial time of 2:09:25, according to Runner’s World. Florence Kiplagat, 28, also from Kenya, won the woman’s race with an unofficial time of 2:23.33, according to WGN TV. Each of the winners will receive $10,000.
