FREE Special Needs Resource Fair April 25th from 9-2 at Lt. Joseph P. Kennedy Jr. School for Exceptional Children in Tinley Park.

This Special Needs Resource Fair is open to the public and for all those with an interest in Special Needs services.

Lt. Joseph P. Kennedy Jr. School for Exceptional Children at St. Coletta’s of Illinois is hosting a FREE Special Needs Resource Fair. This event will take place on Saturday April 25th from 9-2 at 18350 Crossing Drive in Tinley Park, Illinois. This event is a GREAT opportunity for families and professionals to learn about services and programs that local, regional, and state agencies provide for the Special Needs Community.

Keynote Speaker Mary Ann Ehlert, President and Founder of Protected Tomorrows will be presenting ”Bringing You Protected Tomorrows: Your Journey through an Eight-Step Special Needs Planning Program” starting at 10:00 am.

Exhibitors that will be sharing information include: BDI Playhouse, BETH ABA Services, Family Support Network (a division of ARC of Illinois), BY YOUR SIDE Autism Therapy Center, Chiro One Wellness, Pfeiffer Medical Center, Protected Tomorrows, Discovery Toys, South Suburban Special Recreation Association (SSSRA), South Star Services, Voya Financial, Restorative Neurofeedback, Illinois Council for Exceptional Children, iCan Dream Center, National Association for Down Syndrome, Learning Disabilities association of Illinois, and Sean Rooney, author of Paddy’s First Day at Hilltop School, Sean gives motivational talks to people of all ages. Sean has given talks to many different schools about over coming obstacles, living with a disability, and becoming a published author.

Additionally there will be a variety of Informational Displays that will include: Adapted Educational Materials, Behavioral Interventions, Social work & Yoga, Occupational Therapy, St. Coletta’s of Illinois Residential Services & Transition Training, and St Coletta’s of Illinois Culinary Program.
