Golfers Still Needed for Together We Cope's 'Luau on the Links'
June 3 event at Odyssey County Club includes lunch, 18 holes of golf and dinner.

Some spots—and some sponsorships—are still available for ‘Luau on the Links’ on June 3, the popular annual golf outing at Odyssey Country Club in Tinley Park that benefits Together We Cope. With Hawaiian-themed fun planned throughout the day, “people always tell us this is one of the most fun golf outings in the south suburbs,” said Karen Moran, fundraising coordinator. “It’s a chance to join us for a great day support a great cause.”
Participants can enjoy lunch, 18 holes of golf and dinner for $125 per person. Golf only is $95, and dinner only is $45. Golf registration begins at 10:30 am, and the shotgun start will be at 11:30 am. Attendees can win cash, airline tickets, tickets to sporting events and sports memorabilia, among other items. Golfers can compete for prizes including “closest to the cooler.”

Together We Cope is a nonprofit prevention agency based in Tinley Park that provides resources to families in temporary crisis in 27 south suburban communities, enabling them to stay in their homes. Of every dollar the agency receives, 93 cents goes to client programs and services. In 2014, TWC received its fourth four-star rating from Charity Navigator for sound fiscal management.
