Guest Robbed In Parking Lot Of Tinley Park Hotel

TINLEY PARK, IL — A guest at a Tinley Park hotel was assaulted and robbed at gunpoint while in the hotel parking lot Thursday morning.

Tinley Park police responded to the Comfort Suites at 18400 Spring Creek Drive at 10:23 a.m. for a report of an armed robbery, Police Chief Steve Neubauer said.

The victim told responding officers that he was assaulted in the parking lot by three or four men, all armed with handguns, according to Neubauer. The man suffered minor injuries as a result of the ordeal.

The offenders fled the scene after the robbery in a silver Infiniti. No physical description of the suspects has been released by police.

Police continue to investigate, according to Neubauer.
