Homeowners Locked In Basement During Tinley Park Home Invasion
Three armed men entered a Tinley Park home through an open garage door Saturday night.

TINLEY PARK, IL -- The homeowners and several guests at a Tinley Park residence in the 8000 block of Pottawatomi Trail were locked in the basement by three men with guns who entered the home through an open garage door just before midnight Saturday night, police said.
When the men entered, they demanded cell phones, electronics and cash from the people inside, police said in a news release shared by the village of Tinley Park on social media.
The homeowners and guests were locked in the basement by the home invaders, who left in an unknown vehicle. Three of the victims suffered minor injuries and were treated by paramedics at the scene, police said.

Victims told police the offenders were three men, all between the ages of 18 and 25. One is white and two are black.
