At Mucci World Ceramics, Arts Crafts Studio &amp; Marketplace, our mission has always been simple — to bring people together through creativity, joy, and meaningful connection. For over a decade, families, schools, and community groups have come here to create memories, celebrate milestones, and find peace through art. Thanks to Community Support, just a few weeks ago, we were preparing to close our doors on December 23. It was a difficult decision after pouring our hearts into building a creative space for families, children, artists, and neighbors to gather, create, and connect. But something beautiful happened. Our community showed up. Through encouragement, continued bookings, kind words, and steady support, we were reminded why Mucci World exists in the first place — not just as a business, but as a place of joy, creativity, and togetherness. Because of you, we are staying open. Mucci World has always been about more than pottery and paint. It’s a peaceful, creative sanctuary where people of all ages can slow down, unplug, and make lasting memories. From pottery and painting classes to birthday parties, vendor markets, homeschool programs, and special events, this space has become a home for creativity for everyone. Small businesses survive because of communities. Every class registration, every event booking, every share on social media, every encouraging word — it all matters more than people realize. We are deeply grateful to everyone who has supported us, prayed for us, booked events, brought their children, and believed in what we’re building. This next season is about growth, gratitude, and continuing to serve our community with excellence. We’re not closing. We’re just getting started. <a href="https://fordphilanthropy.org/" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">Ford Philanthropy</a>&nbsp;is teaming up with the <a href="https://www.ghsa.org/" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">Governors Highway Safety Association</a> (GHSA) and the <a href="https://idot.illinois.gov/" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">Illinois Department of Transportation</a> to bring four free, hands-on Ford Driving Skills for Life clinics to Manheim Chicago in Matteson, Ill., on June 27-28, 2026.
Established in 2003, Ford Driving Skills for Life pairs newly licensed or permitted teen drivers with professional instructors for advanced behind-the-wheel training designed to help inexperienced drivers develop the skills needed to recognize hazards, control their vehicles and make safer decisions on the road. Each session combines instruction from professional drivers with hands-on exercises that allow teens to practice important driving techniques in a controlled environment.

Participants will work with professional instructors to learn how to manage real-world driving situations and understand how their choices behind the wheel affect others on the road.
