Jimmy John's Delivery Driver Airlifted after Crash
The crash happened Tuesday around 9:30 p.m. in Tinley Park.
A Jimmy John’s driver had to be extricated from a car and airlifted to a nearby hospital after a crash in Tinley Park Tuesday night.
The crash occurred around 9:30 p.m. near Glenshire Street and 88th Avenue, Chicago Sun-Times reports. The driver, who authorities thought to be a woman in her 20s, was pinned underneath the dashboard, Tinley Park Fire Dept. Capt. Ken Roemer told reporters at the scene.
She was conscious while being extricated and was airlifted to Advocate Christ Medical Center.
