Kowalczyk Family Wins ABC's 'Great Chicago Light Fight'

TINLEY PARK, IL — A Tinley Park family's Christmas lights display has been voted the best in Chicagoland. Dominic Kowalczyk has created a dazzling lights display at his home on Avon Lane in Tinley Park during every holiday season since 1990. This year there are more than 150,000 lights synced to 25 Christmas songs, according to ABC.

Other finalists in the news station's contest included the Kintz family in Joliet, the Koppers in Channahon, the O'Connor/Mequio home in Mokena, the Reyna home in Monee and the Scheuerman home in Elmhurst.
